WATER TANK SYSTEMS

Minimal training time to know how the equipment works.  Charge pump to load the tank is a Honda Powered 3” large volume pump that delivers 225 gallons per minute and could fill an empty tank in approx. 12 minutes.  75’ of suction hose and discharge line from this pump allows water to be drawn from lakes, creeks, sloughs or city supplied source.

Discharge pump is a Waterax Mark 3. This pump is a leading standard in the Forestry Industry for such purposes. It produces a maximum of 380 PSI and a free flow of 98 US gpm.  See info sheets..

The tanks are designed to allow hook up between them to expand the volume of available water.

The output pump is adequate to provide a coverage distance from the spotted tank of up to 700’. 600’ of weeping hose and spray dispersal of 100’.  This would allow a diameter of about 1400’ of protection and suppression without having to move the tank.

Two separate pumps allow the tank to be filled, and or used, at the same time. Loading pump can easily be removed and used in a drop zone for filling individual tanks while the output pump stays with the tank.
